Dr Suresh Kumar Sahoo is an Associate Professor of Accounting and Finance in the Faculty of Management Studies, SRI SRI University, Cuttack. He is the Area Chair of Accounting & Finance. Dr Sahoo has done his B.Com. (Accountancy), M.Com. (Finance), M.Phil. (Financial Analysis) and PhD (Corporate Disclosure) with over 17 years of industry and academic experience to his credit. He teaches Financial Reporting Analysis, Corporate Finance, Financial Planning, Investment Analysis & Portfolio Management, and Behavioral Finance. He is a keen researcher in the field of Accountancy, Behavioral Finance, and Corporate Disclosure and has published articles in national & international journals and presented research papers at national and international conferences. Dr Sahoo owns the Regional Gold CIMA Teaching Excellence Award 2020 (Asia-Pacific) from CIMA, UK. Dr. Sahoo is working in a research collaboration project ‘Teaching Excellence’ funded by the AICPA, USA.
He has also conducted the MDP at JSPL, Jindal Power Limited, DCPP, MB Power (Madhya Pradesh) Ltd at Chhattisgarh, and Aarti Steels Ltd (Odisha). Dr Sahoo has been an expert in the field of Steel, Power, cement, Oil, Mining, and Power distribution and conducted MDP in the field of Finance for Non-Finance, Leadership, Team building, and Competency enhancement. He has started giving consulting services on sustainable reporting, risk management, and organizational restructuring.
