Dr. Eva Blondeel is currently Postdoc Researcher and Teaching Assistant at the Accounting Education Research Group of Ghent University Belgium (Department of Accounting, Corporate Finance, and Taxation, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration). She obtained her PhD in Business Economics at Ghent University (2024). During her PhD time, she was a visiting researcher at Rutgers University (Newark, USA). Her teaching domain is Financial Accounting. She is performing research in the field of Accounting Education, focusing on engaging students in the learning process and on digital skills. She also received the Award for best Master Dissertation (2018) during her Master Business Economics – Accountancy.
She has published in several international journals such as Assessment & Evaluation in Higher Education, British Accounting Review, Studies in Higher Education, Accounting in Europe, Sustainability, and Issues in Accounting Education. Eva is also on the Editorial Review Board of Issues in Accounting Education and is ad-hoc reviewer for Accounting Education, Assessment & Evaluation in Higher Education, and Higher Education.
